  1. How many times will it take before media in this country learn not to buy into Conservative spin, ahead of a deal that nobody has laid eyes on yet? Of course the EU and the British Government are "optimistic" about prospects of a deal. That's what you have to say when you're negotiating. Doesn't mean it's going well.

  2.  @unifiedvision999  Nono. The deal has to pass before the Benn act is switched off. If it doesn't pass, he still has to write that letter. He actually has to write that letter even if the Deal does pass, in the event that the debate takes longer than two days.
