A Different Bias

When I voted Remain in the Referendum of 2016, it was for the simple reason that I had no idea what the hell "Leave" meant, and I recognised it as a vehicle for fascism. If I'd talked about my reasoning then, people would've thought I was loopy.

Welcome to the end-game. It may feel like any other day, but it's not. There's a fell wind blowing. This is the Tories' last chance to seize power - their last hurrah. Even if they win, it's a desperate scheme, bound to fail - but their backs are to the wall, with nothing left to lose. They're facing an extinction level event: they've utterly failed to recruit new young voters in the number they need to stay relevant. If they lose this election, they will not taste power again, and they know it. They have that fear in them that only a would-be dictator knows, in the moments before they lose their grip on power. But we have to make sure we defeat them this time - because evil only has to win once for it all to be over. One victory is all they need to destroy our country forever.

Scotland won't be allowed to leave. The government will simply send in the military to break up any attempts at a fresh referendum. They'll have the legal power to do so.

@scottishbombolini7794 The government has the power to order the military around, that's... y'know, part of how governments work. They could decide to declare a national emergency to "restore order". That's how dictatorships always do it.
