  1. MPs need to legislate to block this move, post haste. I'm not even going to bother explaining how ludicrous the idea is, that Brexit is in any way about Democracy. Clearly we are well past that point now. This needs to be fought every step of the way - by civil means if possible, and by direct action if absolutely necessary. (I'm talking peaceful demonstrations and sit-ins, in the style of the Sudanese and Hong Kong insurrections that occasionally pop up in headlines - these have proven far more effective than any violence would ever be.) We have to stand ready to take to the streets, and to not leave when the authorities tell us to. We have to be ready to do our part to defend the right to due process, and to be governed by a society with laws. Britain has defeated Nazis before, and so help us, like our grandfathers, we'll drive this contagion into the English Channel.
