Ok from lived experience Phil, the Tories don't know where their battlegrounds are. They have been demonstrating, in my neck of the woods, that they have an appalling lack of local knowledge. Their canvassing teams are disorganised and rarely seem to even use data. THEY ATTEMPTED TO KNOCK THE DOOR OF THE LABOUR CAMPAIGN HQ DURING A LOCAL BY-ELECTION. I think the reality is that they've already lost their key activists and now they really are having to make do with the absolute dregs.
