  1. Russia doesn't care whether Ukraine joins NATO or not. This is about conquest. Putin wants to conquer Ukraine and establish a puppet government there. There's no point in negotiating with him - the only language he truly understands is the language of strength and military power. He won't stop until he and his legions have been defeated on the battlefield.
