  1. I mean, they're both right. The Mom's right that he's just a kid and it was a stupid comment in a game. And the cop is right that he could so easily grab her gun and go act on his stated intent. The issue here is the guns. If the boy wasn't living in a country where grabbing a firearm was as easy as opening his mom's purse, then there would've been no need for this arrest.

  2. Here's an idea: instead of arresting kids to prevent them from committing acts of mass terror - you just take away the ready access to guns, so they can't in the first place.
