  1. For now, try to stay calm. Panic won't help you fight off the bug. Just take some sensible precautions: - plenty of hand washing, - avoid crowded spaces, - be sparing with visits to vulnerable relatives. As the pandemic progresses, make sure you and your friends are ready to support each other through the difficult times ahead. The people most likely to receive a bad dose of this virus are the old and infirm, so be ready to support your parents. Hospitals will be overloaded and struggling to cope, so it will fall to people like you to help care for elderly relatives, and ease the burden on the system. Your input may or may not help your relatives, but it may save the lives of other people, by keeping just one more hospital bed free for an urgent case. Stay strong everyone - we will survive. :)

  2.  @CreeperReeper44  Creeper, some of your information is straight-up wrong. - Young people and children are quite conspicuously not susceptible to the worst effects of the virus. Under 16s are unlikely to feel any effects at all. It really is the over-65s who appear to be at most risk. - Nobody knows the true lethality rate. That is something which can only be calculated after the event. Not during it. - Yes, it is a pandemic, as classified by the World Health Organisation (being a severe illness with local community transmission in multiple different countries). Please be extra careful about what you post online regarding this outbreak - people are more than scared enough as it is. :)
