  1. I think that what you're seeing in the polls is the effect of Bloomberg's monstrous campaigning budget. With enough exposure and publicity, you can get people to buy into nearly anything. Oh, it probably won't work on you, the politically informed person reading this comment - but it'll work on your low-information auntie on Facebook, or that guy from your old college who majored in sports science. And unfortunately, there's ten of them for every one of you. This is why America needs to tighten up campaign finance laws, because otherwise, Presidential candidates are simply not competing on a level playing field, and any advantage that good ideas or policies might get you, will simply get bought out ten times over by a guy with a bottomless bank account.
