  4.  @billcarson8920  The overwhelming majority of nepotism is practised by rich people. In the case of the high school coach, he's applying an unusual privilege and power that he's got, by dint of his position, to advantage a member of his own family. Yes, it's small-time nepotism, but it's still nepotism. Bear in mind, my comment was nothing more than a flippant joke. It wasn't intended as a dictionary-defining use of the word that was proofed against all outlier situations. This, sir, is what we call "splitting hairs".

Now we can both go and reflect on the life choices that led to us wasting so much time arguing about, frankly, nothing.
