Nepotism: endless, wholesome fun for the entire family! Not coming to stores near you, because you weren't born rich, sucker.

Here's how: vote in 2020, and make sure everybody you know does the same. It's as simple as that. Republicans win when people don't show up to the polls. Deny Trump a second term, and the nonsense stops.

@billcarson8920 Aw go on, give us a laugh. Don't leave me hanging.

@billcarson8920 The overwhelming majority of nepotism is practised by rich people. In the case of the high school coach, he's applying an unusual privilege and power that he's got, by dint of his position, to advantage a member of his own family. Yes, it's small-time nepotism, but it's still nepotism. Bear in mind, my comment was nothing more than a flippant joke. It wasn't intended as a dictionary-defining use of the word that was proofed against all outlier situations. This, sir, is what we call "splitting hairs".

@billcarson8920 Well, I just crossed three more items off my "standard comment section" bingo card. x- "Person who has an unaccountably strong need to correct other people" x- "Person who starts an argument and preemptively declares victory" x- "Person whose English could do with a bit of buffing up around the edges" Well, that completed my row, which means I won the jackpot of 1700 worthless internet points, so thank you. Now we can both go and reflect on the life choices that led to us wasting so much time arguing about, frankly, nothing.

Well, you wouldn't be the first person on the internet to be pedantic once in a while, @billcarson8920 , all I can really suggest is to treat a flippant joke for what it is - just have a giggle and move on. :)

Oh, just the usual, getting myself into arguments with the far-right and ultranationalists on CNN videos, as you do, hahahaha @billcarson8920

I would love to point you to some CollegeHumor videos on this subject, which I think are glorious send-ups of our brand of pedantry, but nonetheless, very funny. :D @billcarson8920
