@bradbecker8982 Deploying your finest vocabulary doesn't change the objective reality demonstrated by centuries of human history that a purely individualist society is a contradiction in terms. Where the needs of the individual are treated as absolute and state power is entirely expunged, the result is poverty, misery and a loss of overall prosperity. A society which fails to ameliorate the conditions of its poorest citizens experiences precipitous drops in productivity, spending power and happiness, commensurate with its stinginess, whereas those which demonstrate greater compassion universally enjoy greater economic returns, in addition to the immeasurable emotional, psychological and health benefits of residing in a more agreeable society.
