  1. While I'm looking forwards to seeing what Mueller has to say, I think we shouldn't be hyping ourselves up for this to be the blow that knocks Trump out. Ultimately, whatever consequences are handed out must be somehow steered through the Republicans in the Senate, and they're not going to budge for any reason. As Trump said, he could literally shoot someone on Fifth Avenue. I don't imagine for a second that that's beyond the pale. The country could be lit on fire, I reckon, and Republican senators will stick to their guns. As long as Republican voters remain as misinformed and as militant as they are, then sadly, even Mueller's testimony is just well-meaning theatrics, playing to an audience that's not listening.
