  1. Problem is this: in the court of public opinion, Trump is going to be found guilty, no matter what the Senators say. And history has a nasty habit of sweeping aside people who defy the laws of political gravity in this way. Either Republicans get with the program and join the majority of people who consider Trump a criminal - or they will face obliteration at the ballot box.
