We got Uniroyal AS expert on the Volvo V70 and man the sidewalls feel wrong, they are way too soft, they look you're flat even though the pressure is spot on, the turn in feels mushy through the wheel I really don't like the feedback. On light snowy / slushy days they work really well with the aggressive thread design. I drove on the 1st gen Crossclimates with my company vehicles, they gave better feedback through the steering, way better response but the thread felt a bit weird to me though. I'm not sure why, maybe I expected too much or what but I could feel a mismatch between the carcass being stiff enough and the thread being designed to work all year round. I'm picky about tires though (behaviour / feedback is the top criteria before pure mechanical grip because top brands will stick anyway but behave differently). Maybe I will change my mind on newer designs all seasons I hope to give them a try soon. Thanks for the vid 😎
