I remember playing with the Porsche car configurator, 911 and Cayennes. I remember the trans Syberia face-lift edition! I'd totally see myself towing my track nugget with that gts, clutch might say otherwise ahah

@GoldenCroc I live in Europe and depending on where you live, burning a clutch is easier than you think if you are not a bit careful. Ever tried a X3 2.0d on a hill ? believe me you don't have even have to tow anything.

@GoldenCroc no offense taken. I mostly drive manuals (9 cars on 10), I tow my stuff around with an A6 avant Quattro tiptronic because its the only trans option and that has a hitch. I've driven cars on road and track, 4x4, heavy duty trucks. Believe me heating a clutch and burning it doesn't take much if it has seen use or it's older. You might get away with a brand new one sometimes and it depends. The clutch on my 530d has 257.000kms and is original, the trans on the A6 has 347.000 and is original too never been opened. Take the original clutch on my e30, the disc is warped when hot. Being gentle with your ride will get you far for sure. Sometimes you do need to push the limits a little and that has nothing to do with fear. You have to feel when it's time to let things cool or back off a bit that's it. Why do you think we have clutch temps warnings on big rigs even with automated gearboxes. Try to take off even half the max weight of a big semi with limited traction on a big hill a few times. Things will get hot quickly. Our race driver welded the clutch to the flywheel on the race truck too, and it's a very expensive part, sintered metalic pucks disc. Just slipped too much on the start.
