The level of engineering and details in this car is insane. The shift with the cuts, no crackle pop bang stuff, just pure high revving na v10 made to sing. Thank you so much because this car feels so forgotten sometimes but to me, this has the perfect amount of engineers pushed so far, and man those shifts, omg.

@Chair991 no offense but this is not drama this is fake and bs. I can't stand Vw audi farts, Mercedes the same and probably the worst the inline 6 of the M3 M4 since f80 châssis. Sounds disgusting as hell. I say no offense because it's kinda a conflict of generation and I get that. I'm not that old but I've always been around old cars, and the new stuff makes me puke except a few things here and there. Take the fake engine noises through speakers, what a century, engines sounds so bad they make them even worse through audio, or maybe you are right, there is drama, but maybe not the way I meant it. Sorry, that's just my point of view, I guess if so much people like it.. The problem is what are we gonna buy if it all bs like that, that's why we keep older stuff maybe

@Roddy_Zeh Oh yeah totally agree with you. Dual clutches are good for numbers only, and they are smooth for every day can't take that away, but where is the drama, I mean this is what is the closest to a manual, a nice sharp cut between gears and that downshift blip. I love this car so much

@Chair991 flashed / tuned, maybe, but factory form, nobody cares, people want to be fast to the 0.01 sec wank thing, the only drama you get is that stupid fart on upshift and bang on downshift. Dct's are made to be faster and smoother because of the dual clutches, make them work against what they were designed for makes no sense

@Chair991 Absolutely not, it farts because it retards timing and still puts fuel on turbo cars mostly. It has nothing to do with how fast the transmission shifts. You don't have to make fart anything to shift a dct, its tuned this way to make noise. Otherwise any dct would fart all the time, even a Smart car would fart, and it's not the case. Its just software, and fake so.

@Chair991 Do cars with true sequential transmissions fart? Even though they are rare, or race cars? They shifts 5 times faster and although they can bang on spark cut if it's set that way in the ecu. I could make a car with a zf 8 speed fart all day if I wanted too, even a manual if it has a cruise control or clutch switch. You have to understand how the engine and transmission work together with software and ecu's and be aware of all that the environment and remember, you said it yourself, pops bang and farts are drama today yes, because 4 poppers sound so bad if you remove that, with dpf, there is nothing you can do from factory except that to attract people. Through soft, they are zillion ways and as many tables to shift the trans with engine together and to play with and wreck stuff

@Chair991 I work in the automotive industry / heavy truck industry since 10 years, I've played with hundreds of different engines in dyno cells or products on chassis dynos so believe me I didn't Google anything. Take a Nissan gtr, it doesn't fart at all, does it still shifts fast, yes, maybe the trans today isn't the fastest one, but still.
