@dfmrcv862 whether something is an insurrection is bot defined by financial damage, so yes, January 6ht was an insurrection, and a pretty classical example of it

@dfmrcv862 by what “any definition" does it also apply to those scenarios? The closest you can get is Chaz, and even then, it was an attempt at independence, not an attempt to overthrow the goverment

@dfmrcv862 we are in no agreement, neither of the riots had the goal to attack the goverment and for the most part they didn't, sure the are a few exceptions but for the most part all of the violence was directed at shops (monuments aren't a government mate), January 6 tho was from the very beginning an insurrection with a goal of toplling the government and the only damage caused by it was directed at the goverment

@dfmrcv862 again, just because something is violent doesn't mean it's an insurrection, there's a distinction between riots and insurrection for a reason. And the January 6th people were a minority of what? There were no nation wide riots (obviously there still were a few) people who stormed the capitol weren't a minority of anything, they were they only ones storming the capitol with a goal of toplling the government. Do you really want to prove something by pulling hair? Cus we don't agree on anything
