  2. What makes you think the US cannot use drones for defence or develop some other simple solution. Drones will not work for naval conflict.

  4.  @Ea-pb2tu  The US has from earth to foundry chip creation. It owns all the licences to its chips. Even the Arm chips are based on RISC which is US based. All the other countries use US based licences. Even ASML is based on US licences and requires US government clearance. I am not saying it is going to be a good thing just stating the reality.

  5.  @Ea-pb2tu  Nope. ASML bough American companies and the rights to use American based technology. Most of the instruments being used have to get clearance from tether US government for usage.

  7.  @Ea-pb2tu  It has licences from the US government. It was allowed to buy small US companies and also given permission to use other patents from the US.

  8. Intel a produce enough chips for the US but not the world. All the other players rely on much more complicated supply chains.
