  8. How many is " a good portion " ? Taking into consideration that of the vehicles that were taking part in the attacks and were hit, most are being recovered and sent to repairing. Also, have you got any numbers to support your claim that western production of ammunition is smaller than the Russian ? Firing rate significantly reduced would indicate the opposite (the guns/barrels wearing is also a factor😢)

  14. ​ @glenbolderson9279  Regarding artillery fire, Ukraine's rate is lower because they use more precision ammunition, so can destroy the target with just one shot. Also, Ukrainians have better reconnaissance. Russians need to rain an area for a long time with many misses. Compare Russia's rate this year and last year, you can see it's Russia that cannot keep up.

  15.  @glenbolderson9279  Excuse me, but if you write "16 destroyed" while in cited Oryx you can read 5 destroyed, I don't know what to say. Then, while the USA can ramp up its production 70% , Piquet's estimation of 100% increase in production, because there are enough (raw) materials and "Russia announced it" (sic!) is ... incomplete by far (as noted in comments there). There's 1 (one) artillery ammunition factory in Russia, even if you want to change from 1 to 3 shift , you will need workers and specialists- if there were any, they may be already in the frontline (dead? wounded? MiA? PoW?). While there are more countries producing ammunition and more to buy from, Russia is on their own (gets drones from Iran, but not shells from China).

Another curiosity, the gentleman interviewed by Newsweek seems to think the equipment sent to Ukraine is being produced (??) while on the day when the losses were made public , in the aid packet equal number of bradleys was announced (coincidence ?)
