@jeremymanson1781 You mean Ukraine with allies (including or not the US), I suppose?

@alexpoetov3213 I'm sure Anders knows about the volunteers enlisting. I think there's a difference between that and mobilisation , when you can choose what kind of person you call (reservists, specialists needed), what makes difference in training

No defence ? Tell that to Sukhoy pilots.

But you did care to come and post

What are you thinking you're correcting? What's your point ?

It's not a walk. Think of a fighting soldier, or more important logistic needs.
2
@stephenlyon1358 Do you think so ? Where are they ? Ask the pilots of A-50s , IL-76, -22 ... Oh, wait
2
Ru has no shortage of anything ?? Are you serious?

Kupyansk-Oskil offensive ? Not very successful

Conscripted soldiers need training that takes time, then experience- you cannot send most old guard to attack while leaving fresh in defense, you need to at least mix 'new' and experienced soldiers.

@iskathefirst6351 Thanks for clarifying, I didn't understand indeed. Stil I'd say it's not enough, especially in terms of anything but infantry (you cannot get artilleryman or a tanker in one year's time)

@iskathefirst6351 The same to you, Good weekend

2. Really really? Does WW2 sound anything to you? 1. If you have a receipt how to never underestimate and overestimate , please explain.

It depends on the intensity of fighting of course. I think we're talking about months here, not days.

Concret blocks in tetragonal shape fixed to the ground as an obstacle for enemy tanks.

Zelenskyy's negotiations outline has been known for some time, now it's time for someone in Russia to wake up, not only wait and count on Trump.

"red army" can go home and see about their own problems .

It looks you missed the third point in the middle. BTW, some millions shells are being provided to Ukraine.

@mysteryman6918 Lack in airforce, Russian minefields and fortifications, imo. Errors have been made in planning and tactics applied. Another question is Russian throwing attacks despite losses.
1
You in most cases don't fight one-on-one in modern war.
1
@zsoltharkanyi7031 This is what I mean - artillery, drones, minefields. I'm not sure Russia is able to push in various sections , yet along of all the front, they would need many more soldiers. As it comes to materiel , yes at the moment Ukraine is at their low, but there are signs it will change. Also, they could hold on their own in 2022 before any aid started to drop.
1
@zsoltharkanyi7031 I think we agree that it is mostly artillery battle , less infantry fighting close combat. ?
