  3. Yes - why don't more white people join minorities over the many, many cases of completely unprofessional police interactions - one after the next in the last 20 years. It is hard to keep track. Not all end lethally, but Oklahoma police firing into a slowly moving car with the suspect of a robbery w/o weapon of one month ago should give you pause. Big time. 2 todddlers were hit, plus their mother and the suspect, I think the older child remained (physically) unharmed. Then the cops that had an illegal chase in Utah Salt Lake City (I think in 2018). Their suspect lost his life as he caused a severe accident. A truck driver ended up with severe burns in the hospital (no connection to the chase or the chased man, he was collateral damage). So that smacked of a major lawsuit for damages. So one unhinged cop showed up in the hospital to demand a blood sample. patient could not consent (he was sedated because of his burns) and there was no probable cause, nor did the cop have a warrant. Of course not, the injured truck driver was collateral damage in a car chase that the police should not have started in the first place. Likely the suspect they chased was a low level drug dealer, someone violating parole, so no immediate danger for society. It was clear by then that the chase was disproportionate, not justified, they tried to get something on the truck driver to reduce liabiality in a civil law suit. (maybe he had smoked weed a few days ago, that shows up for a long time in the blood samples, even if he is sober). the nurse politely declined, reasoned, called her supervisor just to confirm to him that his request was illegal and she could lose her licence over violating patient's rights. Then he had enough, snapped, and arrested her. At least 2 other cops let him. Or police firing around in a park because they chased a suspect. Cops don't like having to run after people, they tend to cut corners by using their guns in such situations. They were hitting a lot of things but not the man they chased. Luckily they also did not hit any citizens enjoying time in the park. Unless that was a terrorist with a suicide vest and civilians nearby, they had no good reason to fire their guns. And then they would need some target practice. No one was killed in the park - but it was an insane action.

Sure police brutality and utter incompetence hits minorities more - but regular income white people are also on the receiving end. - These cases are not that common and are ALSO complacently accepted by citizens that usually do not expect the police to harrass THEM. But the hyper aggression, the idiocy, the ? use of drugs by cops of course spills over sometimes. (Only if people live in upscale neighbourhoods they are safe from our of control, highly unprofessional police). Remember the Australian bride that was killed in 2019 or 2018 ? She had called 911, she heard sounds in a nearby alley and feared it could be a woman being assaulted. (which would indicate - if there was an offender - it likely would be a male). When they came, and she saw the car, she went out of the house to meet them, I think in her pajamas or a robe. That would be safe in Australia or any other civilized country with a professionally behaving police. Those cops "feared for their life" and shot her on the spot. And killed her. (not long before the marriage with her American fiancé). A white woman, mind you. When the whole call was about a man maybe assaulting a woman nearby.

  6. Behaviro like I cited here is not unusual or extraordinary in the U.S. that does not inspire confidence into the police _making level headed use of the exceptional powers they are granted:_. The right to restrain citizens, and the right to even use deadly force. There must be a high standard of being sane, restrained if they have unusual power. But it is the opposite, the bar for them (their sanity, reason, self-discipline) is lower than for civilians. Most law abiding (white) people complacently ignored the many signs of widespread abuse. They falsely assumed it would not hit them so they did not care whether police have been misbehaving for decades against other communties. Have you heard of Serpico ??

  8. Well YOU should be outraged, and join forces with the minority communities (it happens to them more often). Not sure if the mafia style execution of 11 year old Tamir Rice was ealier or later. In Dec. 2019 police in Oklahoma shot into the slowly driving car of a suspect, he had his girlfriend and 3 smaller children (1, 3 years ...) in the car. He was the suspect of a robbery 1 month ago (robbery w/o weapon). In other words, they had the licence plate, he is with family get the guy when the car is parked or follow him to a house. No one was killed, but the man, the woman and two of the toddlers were hit. The 1 year old in the face !! So maybe he was the person caught on camera - 1 month ago. But the harm he could do to society was small compared to what the cops did.

  9. She could be driving in a kidnapping siutation. While the kidnapper holds the gun in his lap - I doubt those witnesses even existed. and if so -they were not black (as was claimed). The young man drove with grandma after church, likely they had a conversation. No witness could have seen any signs of distress ! to justify the unusual suspicion of witnessing a kidnapping. So a white elderly woman driving and young black man = must be a robbery / kidnapping siutation. No other explanation possible. Racial profiling by the wintnesses (if they eixist and police did not just make it up). And certainly bias by the cops She told them right away: I am his grandmother. So they could have settled that immediately, but it did not compute right away with the stereotypes of racist cops. The remark AFTER they had cleared up the situation, "This is your grandmother ? WOW" is highly unprofessional, racist. And stupid. After an unjustified arrest guns drawn you want to be careful with your language, they had little to create "probable cause", the alleged witnesses were absent, this could become a civil lawsuit .....
