  1. You should improve your listening skills: ... The first in a long time to be elected w/o Super pac money or large single donations from corporations. The first representative of color in this district and as the 3rd line: the youngest woman in Congress. I am glad to hear that she put the MONEY part first - THAT is revolutionary. - it has been done before (Sanders, Jimmy Carter was the last president to run a campaign with public funding) - but in that district the middle man of the real estate developers was unchallenged for 18 years or so (he ran unopposed in the primaries for many years, the party saw to that, and winning against the R candidate was a formality). Crowley was the speaker of the house in waiting - HE was a fundraiser which seems to be the main qualification - AOC will refuse to fundraise in the traditional way. The party is not happy about her - hope many more like her will come.....

  2. The trolls are out in force ! - she won with approx. 78 %, Crowley did NOT drop out of the race after he lost the primaries, but got only 6 - 7 % of the vote. He worked for the real estate developers so they will take care of him.

  3. Dear trolls - as for "dumb" - I recommend Sacha Baron Cohen's "Who is America", the clips with some highlights are on youtube. (The guy from Georgia had to step down - after 48 hours, needless to say a Republican). SBC also tried his stunt on Sanders - which was funny to watch * but Sanders does not appear as a fool or moron like quite a few Republican ! politicians. SBC must be good - he got Dick Cheney to sign a "waterboard" and I will concede whatever Cheney is - he is no dummy. * For Sanders and also Sarah Palin (another date) SBC showed up in the disguise of a disabled vet in a wheelchair with his own internet show, which was the reason he was granted an interview. you can practically see Sanders wonder how the guy got his team to agree to a date for him. But he stayed polite and PATIENT - and tried to make the best of it. Sarah Palin also gave that vet an interview - but she was pissed off after learning the truth - likely she did not come out of it looking good ..... Good thing the Republican candidates are intellectually brilliant ..... ;)
