  1. I am almost sure that the family is affluent. How about calling a cab or an uber ? (but even for lower income people, you have a budget to get wasted, you have the money for a ride). - We made fun of a friend because he could not find his car after a drunk night. He had parked the car somewhere and not at the usual places, a friend had to drive him around to find the car ;) He had the decency to feel embarrassed. BUT did not drive drunk !
