  2. John Hicks the Libertarian got 28,427 votes - so he likely helped Beshear to win (and they do a victory lap, they clearly despised the Bevar as well. Also to send a message to Republican politicians. It seems that Bevar run on legalizing weed (at least medical) and didn't do it.

Lee Carter who won a Republican district gave a resounding if informal endorsement for Sanders As for strategy: Ynyone that is to the left of Barry Goldwater is going to be called Stalin by them anyway, they can as well run on a bold populist socialist agenda. .... not only can a socialist win 2020 it will be necessary ...  (The look on the faces of the panelists).
