"The New York Times did an investigation and found the allegations not credible." a) not true and he shold have called her out on it, the assessment was undecided (but leaning towards carefully formulated "scepticism"). b) Follow up question of a real reporter: what specific claims and details do you think did the Times debunked ? I guarantee she could not have answered that. Of course not, she is usually better rhetorically, she is a lawyer, but these were rehearsed talking points, and not very convincingly delivered. I assume she does not really LIKE that she has to say it. She is a smart woman, she KNOWS her arguments are B.S. The Times dragged their feet, the Intercept did some investigations, and the man that worked with Ronan Farrow on the Weinstein story when they both were with ABC. (Oh, and Dr. Ford had a Senate hearing, that was the supposed investigation, but never mind).
