Hey, Tom Watson: do I pick up some vibes of misogynism and racism ?? ... just sayin' .... (and can someone imagine the shitstorm if Sanders had published something like that ?) The pro woman and the pro minority stance and the pro little people stance does not seem to very "deep-rooted" with the Democratic establishment. It is almost as if it was only a branding effort to have enough difference to the "brand" of the Republicans. - As opposed to REALLY and PASSIONATELY caring about the lot of the little people and the chances of women and minorities in politics. But after all in 2008 the Clinton campaign played "dogwhistle" in respect to Obama as well. However: Obama had the support of Big Donors (they thought he was the better horse and frankly I think they were right, he had more sway and was serving Wallstreet and Big Biz just as excellently as Hillary would have served them. He was maybe a little bit more hesistant to engage in outright war than HRC - but apart from that just as usefull as her. And it is always good to have some "new and shiny" distraction for the masses.
