  1.  @Neucleus  Does not matter if Assange is a grifter or biased or whatever. FREEDOM of the PRESS. The publisher btw is Wikileaks, it is not only Assange. - they just want to make an example of him so that no one dares to expose the tax dodgers, torturers, war mongers, ... anymore.

  3. Assange hit at all sides, he made MANY very powerful enemies (for instance exposing Sweden for extraditing people on orders of the U.S. - illegally it was a kidnapping).

  4. Glenn does great work but he still fits somewhat the image of the high profile New York Times or Washinton Post journalist. Mohamad bin Salman correctly noticed the hypocrisy and cowardice of most "journalists" and the lack of any ethics in the mainstream media - so he thought he could kill Khashoggi without blowback. he underestimated that the victim had played nice with the U.S. establishment media and WaPo is still one of the large newspapers.   "One of us" was killed in the embassy. Julian Assange was never "one of us" and these dwarves do not grasp the relevance of the attack on Julian Assange. Well they likely despise him for his example. Jack Tapper makes good money from the effort to push for war and to deceive the public, he may be intelligent so it needs some double think. Those in need of double think so they can sleep do not like to have their bubble disturbed by people giving an example.

  5.  @bokhans  Assange - and WIKILEAKS act as PUBLISHER and also have freedom of speech. You have to prove that Assange is a Russian asset (it was Wikileaks that published, that is more than Assange). HE was not working IN the U.S. (so no need to register as lobbyist even if - IF he would have Russian connections ). - Well he is not really a Russian asset and he DID publish critical facts on Russia. Did YOU provide them with authentic material they did not publish ? They can't publish what they do not have.
