  2. British patriots who help/helped protect their country are all human beings. Why is it suddenly so important to distinguish all these remarkable people by their sexuality and/or sexual preferences? It seems kind of crazy. People are people, and our sexuality/sexual preferences are surely of absolutely no interest to anyone else? Why has it become essential to advertise what should be private and unremarkable? Britain has gone berserk, it seems. And this newish phenomenon (of making public what is truly private) is quite simply ugly.
