  2. @Mcalo : I can’t call bears “cute.” To me they’re simply magnificent, strong, beautiful. These are so beautiful that I stop breathing when they appear. They are, to me, a kind of miracle, like a Beethoven sonata! Grand, everlasting (their species, that is.)

  6. Simone is very agile for such a large bear. One does wish, though, that at the end of each snack she would be good enough to acknowledge and/or thank her benefactor. That’s the problem with today’s bears: No manners; all take and no give. 😊 (Thank you for sharing her with us; much appreciated. And apologies for the silly comment.)

  7. Now I’m all confused. I thought that seeing koalas every day was one of the best treats life could offer. Now I’m imagining how good it’d be to see bears like these every day. Can’t do both in Oz. And no, a koala is not a bear! It’s a marsupial. I’m in love with your bears.
