  1. Oliver seems sincere, but if so, he's clearly quite blinded by the Russian propaganda, and to a degree that's not really justifiable. I could make a long list, but for instance, it's not true that Ukraine shelled Donbass at the eve of the full-scale invasion and planned to invade, and it's simply not reasonable to believe that. Russia had mobilized overwhelming forces for an invasion and most thought Russia would win pretty easily. Nobody foresaw the Russian incompetence in maneuver warfare. In that situation, Ukraine had to lay low, and did lay low. It couldn't dream of an offensive against Russia/Donbass.
