Poor Afghanis could win against the Soviet Union, but Ukraine is stronger than Afghanistan and Russia is weaker than the Soviet Union. So there is every indication Russia will lose this war.

@DIREWOLFx75 hi, why are you still a putinist troll? You said the same a year ago.
2
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 Russia attacked Donbass in 2014, not Ukraine. Please double check the propaganda you've been served.
2
Ruin indeed.
2
@amr8457 ok, so what's wrong with my reasoning? The Soviets lost to defending Afghanis. So why would Russia win against defending Ukrainians?
2
@MarkLee1 the problem with peace negotiations any deal would reward Putin and that he will just use the peace to build up a few years. Then Russia will restart the war to grab more territory.
1
@winfriedbij684 uhm, no, he didn't. Like all the rest, he has always thought Russia would take Odessa in a month or two.
1
"Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements." This is a Russian propaganda lie.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 Russia is starting the wars. We just try to help neighbors defend themselves.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 have you double-checked the facts and the sources you've used? If you do, you may find MSM was actually correct. Feel free to bounce those facts and sources against me, and see if I can help you double check.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 Donbass is part of Ukraine. In 2014, Russian soldiers and wagnerites started attacking Ukraine (Donbass) as "little green men". Ukraine has been defending and trying to dislodge the occupiers ever since. I agree that we're going to need people like you to recognize and fact-check Russian propaganda to use our democracy to end this war by defeating Russia. Please look into it deeper and double-check sources and Russian propaganda narratives.
1
@PerceivedREALITY999 Ukraine couldn't wait because yanukovich was a Russian puppet that had let slaughter many protestors. Elections were soon held again, so Ukraine maintained its democracy through the revolution.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 your stance isn't plausible as an honest organic viewpoint. I can only conclude you're a bot account.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 so Russia attacked Belgorod when they bombed incursions from Ukraine? Smart, dude.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 not only is the stance a reproduction of false Russian propaganda narratives, it also contains hilariously backwards moral claims. I guess it's possible to be that contrarian and post-truth, but again, it's not really plausible. Therefore my conclusion is bot.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 you're so obviously taking the side of Russia. Nobody can read these comments and think otherwise.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 again, your stances aren't plausible, nor honest. Bot.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 in fact, the primary goal of Russian propaganda is to convince people that democratic institutions and politicians are just as bad or corrupt as those in dictatorships. That way, apathy, inaction and isolationism helps dictatorships maintain power at home and assert themselves abroad. Therefore, the act of not taking "sides between corrupt political super powers" is in itself taking Russia's side. But of course that's not all you do. You clearly take Russia's side in historical narratives, inverting blame for the war and more.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 in fact, the primary goal of Russian propaganda is to convince people that democratic institutions and politicians are just as bad or corrupt as those in dictatorships.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 that statement in itself takes the side of Russia. The primary goal of its propaganda is to convince us that we're bad, as bad as they are.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 that's exactly what Russia wants with its propaganda though: "We're as bad as them, let's just have peace on their terms."
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 can't reply anymore, too hard moderation.
1
@isupportthecurrentthing.1514 you should say "team mir".
1
The Revolution of Dignity was not a coup, it was a popular revolution. In no way did Putin need to launch a war regardless.
1
The US has spent 75 years containing the Russian Empire. Why would it suddenly not be in its interest to do so?
1
@amr8457 you have to be quite math challenged to accept Russia's extrapolation.
1
Remember the Kupiansk rout and the Kherson withdrawal. The big movements have been in Ukraine's favor.
1
@AlmaVasquezjr "Rumor of draft everywhere" In Russian propaganda circles.
1
@liamkeogh5135 so says the Russian propaganda, pretending that Russian attrition is favorable. It's not though. You'll see eventually.
1
@liamkeogh5135 my perspective is that Russia is sacrificing men to look good and make this minimal progress, whereas Ukraine (not Zelensky) is preserving men by being very cautious and judicial in actions.
1
@francoisjackson typical eloquence of putinists.
1
13ased_American Putin thanks you for painting our politicians as corrupt and laying the blame on them and not him.
1
@Max_Jacoby there's no support for nazis in Ukraine's government, nor by americans.
1
@PerceivedREALITY999 there was no coup in 2014, it was a popular revolution. Democratic elections were soon held, and again in 2019. This never happens in FSB ruled Russia.
1
@HarmKaban no, those were Utkin and the tattoos were him. Good try though.
1
@JustinStLouis-xz7ut what do you mean? Zelensky has been a great wartime leader.
1
@JustinStLouis-xz7ut seriously, why? Do you have any real concerns, or just Russian disinfo about corruption and such?
1
@JustinStLouis-xz7ut there's zero indications that Zelensky is an extremist. Quite the opposite, he's a centrist candidate who ran on anti-corruption and honesty, and to settle the conflict with Russia amicably. Putin however refused to help as he had decided years earlier to do this invasion.
