@mauraorourke9849 I grew up down the country and fair enough, we were very poor, but what we lacked in money was more than made up by the community around us, the freedom we knew that will never be known to newer generations, Ireland was so safe where we grew up that the key was literally rusted into the keyhole from never taking it out of the door, where is that Ireland gone? A lot of people like to go on about how hard we had it but I feel privileged to have grown up in such a time.

@mauraorourke9849 did the Irish get to enter other countries without passports and get put up in 4 star hotels?? You talk about the Irish being a drain but what about the millions every week being paid to put up people from countries like Georgia or Algeria, I was in Georgia a few years back and it’s a beautiful safe country, to say the country would collapse without foreign workers is absolutely ridiculous, the country is about to collapse because of all the migrants, not in spite of them, we’ve a housing shortage, inflation problems, a medical system in shambles and the migrants just exacerbate the problems, lay off the cool aid and stop watching rte.
