@heatherleigh414 Yes and No, in the inner city , it’s obtainable, but not necessarily “easy”, but not legally of course, criminals don’t care about laws, they get there Guns from the cartels, and give them too little kids in the hood, usually crack heads selling them for there next hit too a little kid. I do tons of research into gun violence, and inner city violence in general. I somewhat disagree with the statement that parents don’t know or can’t know. Can kids hide things? Yes, but it is not so simple to hide a firearm! Especially if the parent is actively checking ( as they should be if there kid has been caught before) This is not this kids first run in with the law, he has a list of priors, posts on social media with weapons. this is simply due to bad parenting. The parents aren’t doing there job, they are leaving the child to there own devices, letting them run with bad crowds, the parenting is a large part to blame for this child behavior aswell. Too say the parents are not at fault is silly and illogical. All the signs are there that the child has serious problems.

@heatherleigh414 Totally understandable, and especially agree on the parenting part. I wouldn’t say it’s easier to obtain firearms as a whole, if anything , by the day it’s becoming increasingly difficult for law abiding citizens to obtain firearms. Where a lot of these kids obtain them is when living in the hood, or ghetto, they then get sold firearms by criminals, druggies, looking for there next fix, or (the government giving them out, but that’s a rabbit hole in itself) to increase inner city violence amongst low income class. I do agree with you that parenting is so horrible nowadays, and also agree that kids do hide things from there parents, but if they have been caught doing bad things, I think they should be monitored closely by the parents. I was exposed to firearms at a very young age. And I have a massive respect for them. it’s all how you were raised, but I agree they are not for everbody, I have family that aren’t comfortable with them, but they respect those that do and enjoy them, and understand why, but it isn’t there cup of tea, and that’s perfectly fine. I will say, they are a literal life saver, if you ever found yourself in a situation with a violent criminal who has 0 regard for life. I hate the sense of being powerless/defenseless to a would-be attacker, but I totally understand where u are coming from, as I had similar views in my life before I was introduced to them. I watch a lot of crime shows too, and in my eyes. The only real way to stop someone with full intent of harming and committing atrocious, unspeakable acts, is to be able to stop them with some nice cold lead .

@CeeCeeB. Fair, but it’s unlikely due to his circumstances, and I can guarantee even if he gets his rights back, he will forever be watched, even if he attempts another crime, he will be caught, I can guarantee you that. Once he’s on the list, that’s it. Shows over. The NSA and FBI have the ability to monitor his computer access even if he attempts to hide it, it won’t matter , and they will do it under the table. They monitor all of us, everything we do, and he undoubtedly is on some sort of list now we’re he will forever be in the eye of the government. But I guess we all are being watched to some degree, sad days.
