  6.  @williamcollins4082  Exactly, said it perfectly. These weapons are nothing new, but nothing to be scoffed at like the OP of this comment is, and others in the comments. They are well tested, on both sides , US and Russia, and they could easily take down an air craft, or even kill the pilots from 30 miles away, as you said, with surgical precision. These weapons have to be extremely precise and have computers calculating all the ballistics data autonomously.
