All these British “snipers” in the comments who have never held a gun in there life. This is amusing asl 😂😂😂 Do you know how hard it is to hit a moving target on the same window several times while the vehicle is moving? Also take into account the bullets deflection of a moving target, won’t hit the same way. Bullet resistant glass , especially the ones used in transporting important invidivudals would take more than “2” rounds to get through the glass , even with a caliber such as 7.62, this is Hollywood magic, if you really think this is anywhere close to a “real” scenario your a complete moron. The way the bullet hits the glass at an angle alone would allow for more shots on that glass before the integrity of it started to fail. Military humvees are not as armored as you think, they are not actually built to withstand much gunfire, they are a death trap on wheels. As for this instance, this is a diplomatic transport, and I can assure you it’s much better armored than even a military Humvee is. It would take more than 2 shots , even if perfectly somehow his bullet hit the glass straight on, FAKE.

@tungstenkid2271 He is correct in that most Civilian armored vehicles are made to stop 9mm, 45 acp, etc. But usually is something such as a diplomat transport vehicle, it is generally armored to stop 7.62 and 5.56. Rifle rounds aren’t as hard to stop as everybody thinks. The glass might be thicker but not by a whole lot, technology has advanced quite a bit, we no longer need such a large piece of bullet resistant glass to stop a bullet, just lookup on YouTube Of armored car manufacturers and they literally demonstrate how many bullets the glass can withstand. Also the target moving changes the physics of the bullet and the way it hits the glass/ armor is HUGE. Because the target is moving there is deflection on the bullet so it almost bounces or deflect off the glass not putting as much energy as it normally would into the glass to break it. Angle plays a huge role in how bullet resistant glass works. Now if this car only had glass to stop 9mm , it makes a lot more sense, if she is a diplomat , more than likely the car is designed to stop atleast 7.62, and 5.56 rounds. And if it can, it can take multiple shots to even think about getting through.

@theexpatgunner Your a moron, high velocity means nothing if the bullet is impacting at different angles, basic physics, that’s how bullet proof glass is designed, the bullet is hitting the glass at a downward angle, which creates deflection on the bullet, yes, it will hit the glass and damage it structurally, but because it’s hitting at a different angle, the force applied is not the same. Bullet resistant glass is made with this in mind. Shooting the glass straight at an angle is much different when the bullet is at an angle, deflection must be taken into account as the glass could definitely stop more than “2” shots.

@theexpatgunner Oh the irony in your final statement 😂😂 Saying I have the toxic comment, as you type about me playing with my “LEGO” first of all, I’m sure there is British citizens who own firearms, but they mainly live outside of the city, they own property that they use to hunt on or kill pests. The gun selection you have there is tiny very tiny compared to what can be bought in the US, you get the choice between a shotgun, and a hunting rifle, and even with that said, the laws are so strict it’s near impossible to get one. It’s definitely not easy. Now I’m not gonna be immature and stoop to your level. I think it’s a great thing that your practice the right to bear a firearm. It was how the US was freed from the hands of tyrants. That continue to take rights from you. Now with that said, it may be a popular sport that is “growing” but in reality the amount of people who own firearms in the U.K. is Minuscule, almost every household in the United States owns a firearm, I think it’s about 46% of the population. Compared to the UKs abysmal 138, 728 people registered to be able to own a firearm. That is absolutely nothing. But sure , please tell me how all citizens of the U.K. are VERY Familiar with there firearms. And a 22lr is nothing to brag about. I shot one of those when I popped out the womb, was my first gun to ever shoot. But regardless, i think it’s great that your practice your right to bear arms, it has saved me numerous times, unfortunately when laws are in place, law abiding citizen don’t have access to guns, yet the criminals do. Such as in brixton where a friend of mind had a shotgun pulled on him.
