@ediorfitzgerald1478 That was the Narrative touted by the DPRK. Probably not accurate whatsoever. At the time a lot of political games were occurring , so it was no surprise they used him as a chess piece. Cannot compare Otto to Travis, Otto didn’t willingly defect to the DRPK, he was arrested on vacation and used as a political chess piece. Travis willingly ran across the border wanting to defect. Travis also while pulling the race card was racist and screaming obscenities at South Korean civilians and police, hence why he was being dishonorably discharged, he racked up crimes in Ally territory.
