  1. I’m not surprised, these bridge tenders are payed off by rich folk to open the bridge ON DEMAND for there big yachts. It’s illegal for them to accept bribes but they do anyway. If the police really want to find out what happened, they should look into the illegal money changing hands between bridge tenders and Yacht owners. They are supposed to open the bridge on 30 minute intervals, but all over the state, especially in certain areas, ive seen them open the bridges at times THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TOO. Ive also heard from others (people I knew with yachts) that they bribe bridge tenders to open the bridge when they need it done.

There’s a good chance this bridge operator was negligent, accepted a bribe and opened the bridge without checking or even being allowed too!! They should check the cameras all around and on the bridge and check what time he opened the bridge and for who.
