  4. That’s actually wrong. Different weapons. Different purposes, a direct force to chest will go through most armor of that day from a sword.

  5.  @valentine8161  what is “plate armor” exactly? You referring to 15th and 16th century plate armor? And what time period are you speaking of? Chainmail is not strong enough to withstand a broad sword directly plunged, only for slashes with one, the “hard” metal armor of then wasn’t as hard as one would think, especially compared to modern day steel, and could also be penetrated by a proper sword plunge with good force. So I don’t understand what your speaking of? The armor also had to be light weight enough to be able to move in. Too heavy and the person becomes immobilized.

  8.  @kinnanton  That’s using modern steel fabrication techniques and upgrade steel, it’s not the same stuff, yes it helped but with enough force it could definitely get through the armor. It was not “full proof” it just helped tremendously.

  9.  @adamjames1375 to be fair it goes both ways, been scammed out of a lot by bad contractors. Black and white clear as possible, makes it best for both parties.
