  1. Or they were scanning it too determine it’s capability’s. If these “things” are in-fact watching humans, they’d want too know about our latest and most advanced tech. And determine what it’s being used for, and what it’s capable of. As you said it could have also attempted to communicate with it. Who knows what is being left out of this story……..
