@adangamez3608 I never said he wouldn’t die, without medical treatment he was definitely a goner without it. That was never the point of the argument. You are trying to differ from the central point. A loud shot from a firearm would have definitely have a high chance of scaring off that cat, as there is not many things they can associate that with, except lightening. It would have definitely spooked it enough to run away. But it may have not, there is a chance it may not have let go, he then would have been able to shoot it to kill. Not saying what the officer was wrong either,
As for the laws, It’s hilarious as if you act that you know what your talking about when you really don’t 😂.
This incident took place in Florida. Generally speaking, you are not wrong. Warning shots can be considered illegal. But it Varys state too state. In Florida, a bill was enacted to allow warning shots and displaying of a firearm to be legal and go without criminal charges. The officer definitely could have fired a warning shot, and most likely gotten away with it due to the circumstances, as long as the weapon wasn’t discharged in the direction of a person and in a safe direction, he effectively did the same when he shot and killed the tiger, could have just aimed a little more to the left and “missed” , woulda gone right in the dirt.
