  2.  @UNothing  this is true. That’s why the whole “defund the police” movement is ironically stupid. They need more money, SPECIFICALLY for better training. Not talks about gear and gadgets, strictly better training. And one that is to serve the public, instead of the public/civilian being the enemy in the eyes of the law( mind you this is not with all officers) Because more of the same bad policy/training that is the civilian is always to be a criminal has messed things up quite a bit, and created quite a rift between civilians and the departments
