I don’t totally agree with this sentiment. Some of them become homeless with there dogs. The world and US is a crazy place right now, with a lot of people going homeless. This could have easily been some “regular” if you will persons dog….. it happens all the time. So I don’t think it has as much to do with the fact that he is homeless. More so just a shitty owner. Not all people who are homeless or on drugs are bad people or dont love there animals. Some are good owners and I have met them. So it’s not fair to say. As terrible as this is. I feel for the woman. But that is why I always carry Atleast pepper spray to prevent something like this. I’ve had a couple close calls with dog owners who weren’t homeless or junkies. Just bad owners. The animal should have been dispatched or taken to a shelter if the owner can’t properly care for it or keep it secure where it won’t hurt people. The city and police failed to do there job where this could end up hurting someone else.
