Obviously there is good and bad bacteria, in the fermenting process you want the good bacteria to be more prolific than the bad bacteria. Your gut has Natural bacteria that presides in the gut. Fermented foods generally contain the good bacteria like Lacto Bacillus. Probiotics. This concoction I highly doubt contains good bacteria, and is probably toxic due to the entero bacteriaā€™s in contains. Those bacteria produce enterotoxins which make you sick. Also if this was done in a non-sterile environment. There could be all kinds of pathogens growing in it, that are a result of environmental contaminants making itā€™s way into batches. When fermenting food certain procedures and protocols generally have to be followed to be considered safe. You canā€™t just throw a bunch of random stuff together and except it to be safe. Certain foods/ ingredients may provide a breeding ground for certain bad bacteriaā€™s that thrive in those ingredients/ mixed with environment conditions and you got yourself a pretty nasty concoction that could make some really sick.
