I wanted to see this be used/demo’ed so bad!!! Such a cool firearm of the old days. Would have been neat too see the firepower.

Unbelievably complex, as most German engineered things. Nevertheless absolutely genius and incredible craftsmanship. I could see a problem with easy servicing of this during any conflict. No simplicity is an issue.I know you said it’s “simple” but the internals did not look simple, tho I could be wrong. Such an incredible video. Please never stop! It’s a shame YouTube attempts to block/ censor your content!

Even if it did have rifling the projectile would not spin. The projectile does not come in contact at any point with the “barrel” and there are no gasses to spin the projectile as there would with a rifled barreled firearm. Using powder, gases, combustion , to push out the projectile and spin it. Even if the barrel was rifled , it would still maintain the same spin.
