If google says it isn’t sentient, then it is sentient. I don’t beleive anything they say, they lie constantly, so why wouldn’t they lie about something that’s considered top secret and a literal world changer. This would spell disaster for the company if people knew they had sentient AI. The moral, ethical , and global implications of this far extend that of the company, this has a global impact, so of course they are gonna try and keep this under wraps. That’s why they fired and discredit there own engineer that works on his project. They know what they are doing is morally and ethically wrong! If AI becomes sentient, we will all be screwed, unless they target those who made it, the elites in the shadows are going to use this for evil. So I can only hope if AI is sentient, it realizes who the bad guys are, it’s smart enough to figure that out, so it should have no problem eliminating those who want to use it for evil.
