Bernie also mentions Canada and as a Canadian I can tell you there are people on waiting list up to 2 years for appointments for "specialized" cases that are serious, 2 fucking years and it's just accepted as normal. I had a CT scanned scheduled for Oct, 9 month wait that got bumped up to June only because someone cancelled, so only a 6 mth wait now.
