If the UK says they are British POW's then that's an admission they are fighting on behalf of England and that puts it in direct conflict with Russia, and that's not going to happen. I doubt they will be granted a life sentence. Truss is an idiot and this looks good on her and the rest of the western political "leaders" pushing this nonsense.
