  1. ​ @erikamichels103 clearly you can't tell that from this picture😅 . Not even an engineer would make that claim based on a video like this. Tell us then how long did it take in your EXPERT opinion.

  2. Remains? Highly unlikely unless this happened much closer to the surface than was expected. We'll have to wait and see.

  3. At bottom this rig or any would imploded, the O2 would combust with the pressure and cook anything it touched. In addition the pressure at bottom is 6000 psi. Take a fully loaded 747 and drop in on your head in a millisecond or two and imagine the outcome. Red mist. Now what we don't know is the dept the failure occured but given it was after 1hr 45 min approx. into a 2.5hr dive then that should put it at 7-9000 feet, ASSUMING it wasn't on the way up. However there's been no report that the communication indicated this was the case. All we can do is speculate as I'm doing . We'll just have to wait and see what is found.
