  1. I think the ukros are trying to be "smart" and letting forces in Bakhmut get destroyed as the set up for some silly offensive that will only hasten their inevitable loss. I'd also say the Russians know these are probing attacks and are acting according to let the ukros get the response they want and not what will actually happen if this happens. Either way it's going to be another failure for Ukraine.
