Ideally NATO would put boots on the ground in Ukraine as Russian forces would steamroll them. Every airfield in range of Ukraine in Poland and Germany would be cratered in a few days. Then what, the less than 100k troops NATO has in Europe are going to do what with the 500 tanks Poland and Germany have between them? It's just pure fantasy from EU/NATO.
