They did the smart thing and leave. The ukros would have stayed and made another Mariupol.. again you conflate territory with success. The ukros lost 20k+ in these "counter offensives" for nothing but to brag about "territory" now dumblensky is pulling troops from Kerson to beef up Bahkmut lol. The Russians will take back both of those cities when and if they want.

That's exactly what the ukros have done with their "counter attacks" that have cost them 10's of thousands of troops for "territory" and done nothing to stop the loss of Soledar and the upcoming loss of Bahkmut. That tactic worked so well in Mariupol didn't it? 100K+ KIA and double to triple that OOA/MIA for the ukros. So you keep on posting nonsense, it'll change nothing.
